Scott Kilmartin

Scott has been selling online since 2000. He has extensive experience in growing boutique brands with creative marketing, digital media and PR, both in Australia & internationally. Regularly speaking on omni-channel retail strategy.

In 2013 Scott successfully exited haul, an award winning retailer he founded in 1998. haul upcycled advertising billboards into uncommon lifestyle accessories including iPad cases, messenger bags & luggage tags. Bootstrapping haul from a garage startup selling products on a card table at Salamanca Market in Hobart to being stocked on the shelves of some of the world’s best design stores.

He was an early adopter of social media, using it as a vehicle to take haul into the US and UK. Transitioned haul from a traditional wholesale model to an innovative omni channel boutique retail brand combining online, physical retail, wholesale and corporate arms.

Scott has also worked with big brands including: Seek, Virgin, AGL & RMIT. haul was the City of Melbourne’s Business of the Year 2008, Successfully exiting the business in 2013.

Scott is a foundation member of the National Online Retailers Association and has spoken at ad:tech on eCommerce security and fraud. He Is part of the global General Thinking initiative. Scott has a retired dog with more twitter followers than you, went to gelato school in Italy last year and now has an ice cream cart side business gaining customers using social & geo local apps to spread awareness.
